The Jefferson County Prevention and Recovery Board contracts with a number of certified agencies to meet the service needs of County residents. This is done as mandated by an Ohio statute.
Mission Statement
The Board’s purpose is to plan, coordinate, fund, and evaluate high quality mental health and addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery support services for all Jefferson County residents.
Vision
The Jefferson County Prevention and Recovery Board will ensure that mental health and addiction resources are available to our citizens to help them achieve personal health, wellness, and enhanced quality of life.
Board of Directors Meetings
The Jefferson County Prevention and Recovery Board holds its Board of Directors meetings on the third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. In the event that the third Monday is a federal holiday, the meeting is held on the second Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the Board Office at 524 Madison Avenue, Steubenville, OH 43952.
