The Jefferson County Prevention and Recovery Board contracts with a number of certified agencies to meet the service needs of County residents. This is done as mandated by an Ohio statute.
Mission Statement
The Board’s purpose is to plan, coordinate, fund, and evaluate high quality mental health and addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery support services for all Jefferson County residents.
Vision
The Jefferson County Prevention and Recovery Board will ensure that mental health and addiction resources are available to our citizens to help them achieve personal health, wellness, and enhanced quality of life.
Board of Directors Meetings
The Jefferson County Prevention and Recovery Board holds its Board of Directors meetings on the third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. In the event that the third Monday is a federal holiday, the meeting is held on the fourth Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the Board Office at 524 Madison Avenue, Steubenville, OH 43952.
The Personnel Committee of the Jefferson County Prevention and Recovery Board met on July 12, 2019 to discuss the retiring/rehiring of the Executive Director. Action will be taken regarding the retiring/rehiring of the Executive Director on September 16, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. during the regularly scheduled Board Meeting. The meeting will be held at the Board Office at 524 Madison Avenue, Steubenville, OH 43952.
